Privacy policy
What we collect, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Last updated August 20261. Scope
This policy covers the GlobalServer Capital website and the services reached through it. It explains what we collect, why we hold it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Where we act for you under a signed engagement, the confidentiality terms in that engagement take precedence over anything stated here.
2. What we collect
- Identity and contact details. Name, email address, telephone number, company, and anything else you enter into a form or provide during onboarding.
- Due diligence records. Identity documents, source of funds evidence, and ownership information, where we are required to verify a client before acting.
- Transaction data. Instructions, settlement records, confirmations, and the audit trail attached to them.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the site.
- Correspondence. Records of what you asked us and what we answered.
3. Why we hold it
We use the information above to do the following, and nothing else:
- Provide and operate the services you have engaged us for
- Verify identity and source of funds before acting on an instruction
- Execute, settle, and document transactions
- Answer your questions and keep you informed about your matters
- Meet legal, regulatory, and anti money laundering obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised access
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Who else sees it
Information is shared only where it is necessary to carry out the work or where the law requires it. In practice that means correspondent banks and counterparties involved in your transaction, custodians and vaulting partners where relevant, professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and regulators or law enforcement where we are legally obliged to respond.
Every service provider we use is bound by a confidentiality agreement. We do not confirm the existence of a client relationship to anyone who asks, including people claiming to act on your behalf, unless you have authorised it in writing.
5. How it is protected
Information is held on access controlled infrastructure, encrypted in transit, and restricted to the people working on your matter. Access is logged and reviewed.
No system is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the timeframes the law requires.
6. How long we keep it
Engagement and transaction records are kept for as long as financial services record keeping rules require, which in most jurisdictions is a minimum of five years after the relationship ends. Due diligence records are subject to the same rule.
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Technical logs are kept for 12 months.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have data deleted, where no legal retention duty applies
- Object to or restrict how we process it
- Receive your data in a portable format
Send requests to office@globalservercapital.com. We respond within 30 days. Where a retention obligation prevents deletion, we will tell you which rule applies rather than simply declining.
8. Cookies
This site sets a session cookie when you use the contact form, so that the form can protect itself against cross site request forgery. It is removed when you close your browser and it carries no tracking identifier.
The member dashboard sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run third party advertising or analytics cookies on this site.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the revised version is published here with a new date, and clients under a live engagement are notified directly. Continuing to use the services after a change means the revised policy applies.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests to exercise the rights above, go to office@globalservercapital.com or through the contact form.
